How Do I find temporary health care staffing in Atlanta, GA?

I just graduated and I not having much success with getting direct hire opportunities. I would love a temp to perm position in my field. Where can I get a list or find all the health care staffing services in Atlanta, GA?

Look in the phone book under "Nurses". There should be several temporary staffing agencies, such as Nursefinders.

You should call the Animal control or dog catcher or whoever you have near you. If there isn’t a pet law then you must always keep you house safe and CLEAN and always keep your animals healthy and safe keep your health in order and keep you animals in control so you don’t disturb the people around you with you extrema amount of animals.

I was thinking about moving to atl because i heard it has a large number of black owned businesses and offers a lot of opportunities for african americans.I’m a young black female who would like to have a career in business like a marketing exec or start my own business.I need some more info on atlanta like the unemployment and employment rate,entertainment,cost of living there etc..Basically what’s the lifestyle like in Atlanta.Pros and Cons please

1. crime is ATL is one of the highest in the US. Yes, Chicago (north side? southside? one of them) is bad, but ATL crime is rampant, since ATL is the only city in the southeast. (other than miami, but cubans occupy that).

my pick:
chicago
the population in general is smarter there. yes, ATL has the CDC, Emory, Georgia Tech (sorry, UGA or Georgia State don’t compare with michigan or berkely) but those are mostly research-based universities.

Cost to fly a dog from Atlanta, Ga to China?

The ONLY way that you will get a serious, and accurate answer, is to talk to the airline on which you will be flying. Airlines can set their own rules and fees for transporting animals. You have to do that anyway in order to make a reservation for your dog, so do it sooner rather than later.

The airline will have its requirements for health information and rules for kennels, food water and waste.

Have you investigated the requirements of the Chinese government to import your dog? Every country has their own rules about that. You cannot simply show up with a dog at the Customs inspection when you arrive.

I am trying to find a sport to do with my dog. He is 60lbs. I heard about weight pulling and was trying to find a club or something in Georgia. Specifically Atlanta. I have no idea where to buy weights, harnesses, and a pull sled. Any suggestions, on good harnesses, where to buy weights, where to buy a sled, or any place in Ga dealing with weight pulling is greatly appreciated.

i’ve read tons of stuff on here about how awesome atlanta is and then when i ask people who have visited there they say its not very nice…so is it nice? what are the pros and cons?

The best things about Atlanta.
-job opportunities (before the recession)
-excellent lifestyle (great homes, neighborhoods, recreational access)
-big city excitement (entertainment, sports, high society, shopping, dining)
-low cost of living (compared to northern and western cities)

The worst things about Atlanta
-crime, poverty, political corruption (same as any other big city)
-traffic
-there is still a lot of racial hatred in the South from all angles

What Atlanta is NOT is a tourist town, it’s not the same as going to NYC or LA. There aren’t a lot of things to keep visitors busy or interested. If the negative stories you are hearing are from short term visitors I can understand their disappointment, but talk to someone who has a good job and has lived here for 6 years and I think you’ll get a completely different point of view.

What Atlanta IS is a large city with a lot of business and entrepreneurial opportunity for success. It is full of hard working professionals making real good money. The lifestyle here is better than most with housing affordable and neighborhoods that are wonderful. Tree lined streets, rivers, lakes, mountains, good schools. It’s just a very nice city to live in. If you’ve ever flown into Atlanta and looked out the window of the plane, what do you see? Trees, greeen space, water. Do the same thing in Philadelphia, Chicago or LA. Not to much down there that’s green or clear. But like any big city, if you don’t have the income to support living the lifestyle you aren’t going to be any better off than you would be if you lived in in Detroit, Toledo or Kansas City.

Where is a NICE neighborhood near Clark Atlanta University?

Looking to relocate to Atlanta and will be going to get my ph.d at Clark Atlanta University. Want a family friendly neighborhood for my wife, son, and dog. Would like to be close to the school but it needs to be safe neighborhood.

Clark is in the west end area which is the worst neighborhood in the city. The northside (inside of 285) is your best bet if you must be close to your school). The Virginia Highlands area is cool too which is east of midtown.

where can i do community service in atlanta on a shoplifter offense?

i’ve tried calling dozens of places from the list that the court gave me & none of them do community service & if they do do community service they only take minor traffic offenses.
& the name of the list is "community service providers" this is becoming very frustrating.
i would like to work with animals. but at this point i will go anywhere they would take a shoplifters offense. i dont want to clean up the sides of the roads though.

When I had fly-drive customers coming into or going out of Atlanta, I used to recommend a company named Cooper-Atlanta www.cooper-Atlanta.com . I can’t give you any real specifics on pricing, but their trips to/from the airport to our locations in Woodstock (on the metro NW side, a good 40-ish mile drive) and Snellville (due east about 25 miles), were less than what a cab would be…and that included up to 6 persons.

I can say this, my customers were always more than satisfied with the vehicles, the drivers and service. They were always on time, never late.

Part of your price issue is going to be the exact date of your event…does it conflict with a major event, or prom night, etc., that could make a major difference on the price
