Is there a shuttle service from Atlanta Airport to Kennesaw ?
I am trying to find a cheaper alternative to the $60 or $70 taxi fare
Unfortunately, there is not. Here is a stretch, but it would require you to take public transportation:
During the weekday peak morning hours (6-9am) you can board the CCT Route 100, and GRTA Route 480 and 481 from the nearby Busbee and Children’s Healthcare Park and Ride Lot. All three routes can take you to downtown Atlanta, and you can board the MARTA train from the Five Points or Civic Center Station down to the Airport.
During all service times (including Saturdays), you can catch the CCT Route 40 or 45 at Kennesaw State University, Town Center Mall, Chastain Road, Barrett Parkway (or the Busbee Park and Ride Lot – #40 Only) and take the bus to Marietta Transfer Center. From the MTC you can transfer to the CCT Route 10. The CCT Route 10 will take you to the MARTA Arts Center Station, and you can board the MARTA train to the Airport from that point.
CCT Express Fare: $3.00
GRTA Express Fare: $3.00
CCT General Fare: $1.50
Transfers CCT/GRTA to MARTA: Free
MARTA Fare: $1.75
I hope this solves your shuttle problem.
No, there isn’t. But you can get a private sedan for around the same price. Look in the yellow pages under limos.

Go to http://www.atlanta-airport.com and then to "Ground Transportation". The click on the word "Shuttle" in red, in the text; once there, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Local & Regional Shared Ride Shuttles" where you will find a list of the different shuttle companies at the airport that can provide service to anywhere in the Metro-Atlanta area…or even outside it.

You could just take the MARTA train from the airport to the North Springs station in Sandy Springs and then get a taxi from there to Kennesaw, might be slightly cheaper than taking a taxi from the airport to Kennesaw.

If you’re just going for a few days, it would be cheaper to drive to a long term parking lot on Camp Creek. (We just paid $7.50/day to leave our car at one of these lots.) There used to be shuttle buses leaving from various hotels. The last time I checked — and this was a while ago –, there were buses from Smyrna and Roswell — and there was no charge to leave your vehicle in their parking lot while you’re away.
